K-3 Wesley Education Center Curriculum

Wesley Schools has developed a curriculum that is research based, modeled for best practices and aligned to the Pennsylvania Standards. Our curriculum incorporates a cumulative learning model that results in a coherent progression across grade levels in subject matters such as English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Media and Technology, Art, and Physical Education.

• Administration of all required state testing- Keystone Exams, PSSA and PASA
• State and National standards based curriculum
• Appropriate grade-level textbooks and materials, as well as intervention programs such as Sonday System for reading
• Summative, Formative and Diagnostic assessments (Study Island and Exact Path – Personalized Student Learning)
• Specialized classrooms for students in need of autism support, learning support, and/or emotional support
• Extensive technology integration in every classrooms utilizing Smartboards and 1-to-1 devices (Chromebooks)
