Wesley K-8 Curriculum
Wesley Schools has developed a curriculum that is research based, modeled for best practices and aligned to the Pennsylvania Core Standards, Pennsylvania Academic Standards, and National Standards. Our curriculum incorporates a cumulative learning model that results in a coherent progression across grade levels in subject matters such as English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science, Concepts such as Media and Technology, Life Skills, and Community Based Instruction are also integrated into the curriculum. To ensure proper implementation of our curriculum, Wesley Schools has adopted Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching as specified under Act 182 for effective teaching practices. All our teachers are state certified in content areas, special education or both.

•Access to on-site support services such as tutoring, online classes, and credit recovery programs (GradPoint).
•Specialized classrooms for students in need of autism support, learning support, and/or emotional support.
•Extensive technology integration in every classrooms utilizing – IPads, Kindles, laptops and Smartboards.
